Background

*Manual meter reading requires a large workload, low timeliness, and high cost.

*It is impossible to systematically analyze the distribution of power consumption and rationally allocate power resources.

*If the electric meter fails, the situation cannot be understood and dealt with in time.

System Overview

Each household is independently equipped with an electric meter, and the centralized collector uniformly manages and collects the electric meters in a certain area. The centralized collector is connected to GPRS/CDMA equipment through 232/485, and is connected to the meter reading center through wireless Internet for data connection.

*Front-end: The collector collects and summarizes data from each meter in a centralized manner, and sends the summarized and processed data back to the meter reading center for summary through the DTU device.

*Communication: DTU transmits the data sent by the front-end collector to the power meter reading center through the Internet through the wireless network.

*Backend: The power meter reading center integrates and analyzes all front-end meter data through the Internet, and then calculates and publishes the electricity consumption of each household.
